Skybrud floods Copenhagen


Saturday afternoon a 100 year thunderstorm (skybrud in Danish) hit Copenhagen, and the city experienced record flooding. 6 inches of rain fell in less than 3 hours, that’s more than the average rainfall for two months! Also, more than 18,000 lighting strikes were recorded by the Danish Meteorological Association I couldn’t help but think of the Nashville flood from last May.
